Each quarter will last 12 weeks, the top 2 in points at the end of the quarter who aren't already qualified for the playoffs will earn a playoff spot. At the end of the 4th quarter there will be 2 wild card spots given out in the following order for all 4 quarters: 1) most wins, 2) most podiums, 3) highest average finish (minimum 5 races). If there are not enough drivers to match any of those qualifications, there will be either 1 or 0 wild card entries. If there is a tie for the final wild card spot after the 3 listed criteria the spot will be decided by number of races run, if that is tied there will be a 30 minute tie breaker race at a random track.

We had a great race today, first we tied the record for most participants (7), we had a thrilling finish with Teamwork taking the lead off the last corner to beat granddriver by .181 seconds.
Results: Team- winner grand -.181 barn - 4 laps ford - 10 laps eatlead - 55 laps viper DNF specter DNF
Going forward starting in Quarter 2 the scoring procedure for those leaving the track will change to be classified based on how many laps they completed instead of DNF cars all being at the bottom. Those who DNF will receive a point penalty equal to the difference of points earned from their position to the next position behind provided that somebody stayed in the room but finished behind them.

The Executive Race: You just got a $100,000 per year job, now you need a status symbol. You need a car that is heavy, powerful, and most importantly expensive. Need to haul golf clubs for you and three friends? Buy yourself the Audi RS6 Avant with a 5.0L bi-turbo V10 producing 571 horsepower, and it has plenty of storage room. It weighs 2025 kg and costs $166,000. Do you still need to haul people but not a lot of stuff? The BMW M5 would be perfect for you with its 5.0L V10 churning out 499 horsepower it will get you and your passengers to your destination quickly and comfortably. It tips the scales at 1855 kg and will cost you $137,000. If a coupe is your thing Jaguar offers the new XKR coupe with a 5.0L supercharged V8 making 502 horsepower. It weighs 1810 kg and has a sticker price of $155,000. For the convertible lover there is the Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG. Its 5.5L supercharged V8 summons 493 horsepower on command to get the air rushing through the car very quickly. It weighs in at 1970 kg and costs $125,000. Take your new car for some sport tires and bring it to the High Speed Ring for a 3 hour clash of metal and money.
