[glow=red,2,300][/glow] Suzuka was def intense, looking at the split time from the leader whether it was grand or layvon was slowly but surely catching up from a 10 place start....as the tires wore down my setup was consistently gaining ground, plus the benefit for competition in first place helped make up some time thanks grand and layvon, was tailing grand towards finish with layvon not far behind, lost control after sweeper throwing car side to side and finally hitting the brakes coming to a complete stop to allow layvon to take second with no damage and gain on grand for pushing too hard, overal third finish was amazing starting in 10th and racing clean with everyone on every lap nurburgring, favorite course, had a feeling in the back of my head grand was going to use the timer as his weapon to knock everyone out of finishing, could not let that happen, finishing second with a sad 35 seconds behind but still got my mileage!!! which helped me prepare for fuji breaking in the engine fuji was fun, so close no matter where you were, between poker king acer and grand, halirious trying to maintain position ahead of acer a lap down and not bump grand, but still managed to get damage simultaneously on the opposite sides of the car on the front and rear bumper, but was on a lap to pit anyways so was well worth the fight to block acer a lap down, overall pushing to stay with grand and got ahead a few times, long race finally came down to having damage on the wrong side of the car for the last corner and over steered with not left but a draft to follow grand finishing third place was very much fun altogether finishing sescond overall this week can't wait for the RUF race have tonight off going to test the brakes and see how long this race should take with no extra stops from track to track how long it could take with no exceptions.

Week 2
Race one on Monza was good, got another good start and so did grand, we both left everyone behind and Poker being not to far away. i quickly got past Grand and started pulling a lead. about 7/8 laps in my car started acting funny and wasnt corning right and grand passed and quickly pulled away. i decided to pit at lap 16, giving up a spot to carts. i then started pushing my car to the limit to catch up, i quickly caught carts but had trouble finding a way by. thankfully he pitted a few laps after and the hunt to catch Grand was on. grand was on fresher tires then me but i still did everything to catch up. going to lap 23 i was with in 2 secs and catching quickly, but again for some reason my car screwed and understeered badly, and letting grand walk away with a win.
Le Mans was a good race, posted the fastest lap, started on pole and won the race. i had another good start along with everyone i think aswell, didnt seem like i had a huge lead going into the first corner. quickyls tarted pulling away from the pack with poker and grand. few laps passed them up and started pulling away, my tire wear like normal was much more then others. i went all 10 laps with out pitting once, the last 3 laps grand started running flat out and my lead was closing fast. i had a 8 sec lead when he started, and at the end he was only 1 sec back. still and exciting race.
Spa was interesting, started raining right away in qualifying and was only able to do one semi dry lap before the track was soaked, the rain stayed heavey the whole time all 25 laps. my race was mostly trying to catch up, but with my tire wear it killed it for me, i finished 2nd behind grand at about 30 secs back.
finished 2nd overall this weekend,

Monza. Qualified 6th. I backed off the first turn and dropped to 8th, not wanting to be involved with ay “1st turn shenanigans”. Barn made a brief pass going into the 1st chicane on lap two but, having the better angle on the turn, I passed him back before the turn 2 exit, where TEAM had also spun. I narrowly avoided disaster on turn 6, when JCub was bumped to the dirt and swerved to come back on the road. I darted to the inside if the track to avoid him, a risky move yes, but worth it to avoid a race ruining crash. By the end of lap two I was in 4th, leading a pack of 6 drivers who were all separated by 1.6 seconds, 13 seconds behind the leader, LayVon. With the cars being so equal, it was no surprise that there was a lot of close quarter racing on the next few laps. Multiple times we would go into corners with 2 rows of 2 wide racing. Eventually, it sorted out the ace, ford and myself racing in a pack together, for places 4-6. These went back and forth from laps 3-7, normally me passing ace in the turns, him catching in the draft. Going into the second chicane on lap 7, I was so worried about ace’s breaking point, that I missed my own, and slid through the green section on the inside on the right hander, and called a penalty on myself. This actually turned out to be helpful, as ace got wide on the outside of the same turn, and it gave me the separation to make him lose my draft. I then ran pretty much alone for the next several laps, 30 seconds behind the leader (Grand), and 10-12 seconds out of 3rd. LayVon pit on lap 15, and Poker pit on lap 16 giving me 2nd place for te time being, although a pit stop down. LayVon caught back up by lap 18, and ran behind me for two laps, presumably unable to pass. Grand pit on lap 19, bringing me to within a car length of the lead, but 19 laps of tire wear forced my pit on lap 19-20. I was caught and passed by LayVon, Poker, and Ford in the pit, as my pit crew stood around after changing my tires, costing me 10 extra seconds. This put me in 5th, 16 seconds behind Ford, with 5 laps to go. I really found a rhythm after the pit and started ripping off some really good laps. I reeled in Ford by the end of lap 24 and passed him for good on turn 8. It led to a solid 4th place finish 47 seconds behind the lead.
Sarthe 10 laps. Qualified 4th. I got off to a not great start with TEAM being disconnected, and poor reactions put me in 6th with JCub and Poker passing me. I did manage to get back to 4th by the Dunlop bridge, however. I had decided very early, that I wouldn’t be pitting for tires at all in this race, so the first few laps were tire conservation, to save them for the last few. I quickly lost the draft of the leaders (Poker, Grand and LayVon) and settled, once again, in 4th racing side by side with ace. I left him when he got loose in Indianapolis, still on lap one. By Lap two, I was alone in 4th, 4.1 seconds off the lead pack. The race was uneventful for several laps, me staying between 5-10 seconds off the lead, just outside their draft. I had a really fast lap 4 (The fastest on track that lap), and caught Poker and grand by the first chicance on the straight. I passed them both for 2nd place, but was repassed by grand who was in the draft. I missed a braking point at the end of the Mulsanne straight, that put me back to 4th, halfway through lap 5, but still within striking distance of Grand and Poker. I had heard tales of Poker’s rapidly depleting tires, and smelled blood in the water. I was 4 seconds back of Poker and Grand by lap 8, when I started to push my pace. I saw Grand start to pull away from Poker , and poker start to understeer a lot. I stayed patient and just waited for Poker to make mistakes. I caught him by the start of lap 9, and we exchanged passes through the rest of lap 9. Going into the final lap, I had a .08 lead on poker, which he quickly made up and passed me by the Dunlop bridge. I knew I would have the advantage through Indianapolis and the Porsche (RUF) curves so I took the last lap very conservatively, barely maintaining a lead through Mulsanne. He passed me going into the Mulsanne corner, and I overtook him for good in Arnage. Finish 3rd, 16.4 off the lead, .524 ahead of Poker. Great battle bro!
SPA 22 laps Qualified 3rd What can I say? The rain was brutal! I put down an early qualifying lap, so the course was still pretty dry. It did not stay that way. I jumped out to 2nd place off the start, even briefly taking the lead from Grand on lap one, and held it through Eau Rouge in lap 2. LayVon and Poker passed me for 4th coming out of Eau Rouge in lap 3. In turn 6 he got into the dirt, and in trying to get back on track was out of control. I again tried to dart to my right to avoid him, but was not as fortunate this time, and he hit me sending me off the track to the right, and giving me front left tire damage. I decide to run with it for a few laps, and this was a mistake. It led to two spins on lap 4, and I pit on lap 6, having fallen to 6th. Breaking became almost impossible any time after lap 8, but I managed to be consistent enough to stay in 4th for most of the race. TEAMwork, being on Racing hards for the first few laps, finally caught me going into the final lap, giving me 4th, around 2 minutes and 30 seconds off the lead.
Overall I finsihed 4th again, this time with no tie. It moved me up to 3rd overall for season two. I was pretty pleased with how tight some of the racing was. Exactly what I wanted from unmodified cars. On a side note, I did take over the All-time RCS points lead after the Sarthe race. Also, the podium finish on Sarthe breaks a drought for me going back quite a ways... I think since before I switched wheels. All in all, a good weekend!

Qualifying went well this week at Monza. Working all week all I could come up with was low 2:04's. Some how on qualifying day I managed a 2:02.918, beating Team by almost half a second.
MONZA Starting on lap 2, I had a good start. Layvon also had a good start throwing the pressure on quick. Half way through the first lap Layvon got around me and started pulling away. Getting up to a 2.422 lead on lap 4 when his tires start to show a little wear and I start closing in the gap. It takes me to lap 9 to pass him due to tire conservation. We go back and forth until lap 10. With 30% tire wear Layvon makes a few mistakes and I get a few second lead. I slowly start pulling away. Lap 15 with a 8.475 lead Layvon pits with 50% tire wear putting Carts in 2nd place. With good tires and knowing Layvon is going to have to deal with traffic I start pushing a little harder. Getting up to a 32.984 lead on lap 18 and 40 to 50% tire wear, I decide to pit. All I needed was tires so I was out quick. Starting lap 19 I was 5.545 ahead of Carts and Layvon is right behind him. Even though Layvon has fresh tires Carts fights him like a champ all the way to the pits where Layvon takes 2nd trailing by only 3.836. I have less fuel and better tires. My goal now is to push his tires or possibly into a mistake without having one of my own. He does start catching me but not enough laps. I finish with a time 55:08. Good start for the night.
La Sarthe I qualified 3rd for this one but as soon as we about to start Team gets dropped putting me in 2nd. I get a good start and in the first turn looking in my review I was glad I was up front. Carts is behind me with poker right behind him. Let the drafting begin. Layvon is gone but I figure, "waste those tires buddy". Poker flies by right before the first chicane getting second. Before the 2nd chicane poker gets first, starting to look like his race. Layvon quickly regains first. Due to a mess up in the S's, I get second back from Poker. Starting lap 3 Layvon is 1.585 ahead and Poker trails by .771. Layvon pulls away and me and Poker go back and forth for a while. Lap 5 out of no where Carts is on my bumper and take 2nd before the first chicane. Carts, Poker and I go at for a while. Due to us battling Layvon has managed a 5 second lead starting lap 6. Poker is in second and his tires are suffering so him and Carts start falling a little behind. Layvon with awful tires keeps going (like he's a Honey badger or something). He gains another 2.1 seconds by lap 9 giving him a 7.178 lead. His tires are really bad now and I start catching him but just not fast enough. With one lap to go I'm behind by 4.038. I finially catch him but it was to late and there was no room for a pass. I was 1.434 behind.
SPA (HOLLY SHEEP STUFF) It started raining right away so I jumped on track real fast to put up a qualifying time before it got too wet. It payed off giving me first position. The surface water(SW) was increasing dramatically with each passing lap. We start the race with 33%SW. I had a good start with carts behind me followed by Layvon. It was very slick which didn't seem to bother Carts as hard as he was pushing. It pays off putting him in first. On lap 2 after the big S I get first back with Carts right there. He stays right with me until we get to one of the slickest spots on the track and he barley gets sideways. He corrects quickly but it cost him a couple of seconds. Lap by lap the SW builds by 4-6%. I start working up a good lead and by lap 13, with 100%SW, I'm up by 53.791. I pit on lap 16 and come out with a good lead still. I take it slow and steady all the way to the finish with a time of 1:12:14.128. WOW what a race. That took a lot of patience and focus.
I managed to get first again. Got a 151 points losing 1 due to a penalty for going a little to wide on spa.
Thanks again everyone, lots of fun. Have a happy Thanksgiving!!

Monza....................got FUCKED UP BY A GHOST !!!....still managed to gain three positions after a pit stop and obtain my mileage to help in la Sarthe < Yah RIGHT!!.....
La Sarthe..............got disconnected after the first lap...no comment
Spa..............hmmm well it helps to start the race on the right tires......not sports hard,....9 laps later < waste of time) anyways the steering wheeld DEF payed off after putting the right tires on and was only 8 secondes behind the two minute marker to gain my mileage...did not need an oil change due to the disconnect on La Sarthe.......gained about two or three positions with the right throttle control and believe had the fastest rain lap on 100% surface water all in all, finishing was more of a strong point than actaully winning "can't win if you don't finish right" ?...
side note, if i get "Dropped" from the gt5 network or PS network again.....im just going to drop my PS3,, from 20 foot..............and see how SHE LIKES GETTING DROPPED! and hopefully show up for the next RCS if she still works lol (turkey for me,turkey for you, love to eat turkey in my big brown shoe)

This week (RX7TC) will be intense. I predict the "F" bomb being used more than once.
"Melt down commencing" as Carts would say.
BTW, you're welcome every one for suggesting High Speed Ring Reverse!!

RCS week 3 RX-7 TC
Race 1, High Speed Ring (Rev) 50 Laps Coming into this week, I did not have real high hopes for myself, especially on this track. I had a hard time in qualifying maintaining speed through the first and 5th corners without spinning out. I qualified 5th with a time of 1:00.693. I knew this would be a really long race right off the bat when the first time through turn 5, I spun and took out ace. Not a great start. After my pit stop I was already a lap down to Layvon and Specter. After that, I just tried to run consistantly to my pit on lap 25, and then to the end of the race. My best lap all race was a 1:02.261, nowhere near my qualifying best. I ended up 4th, passing specter during hit pit stop fiasco, unfortunately not being able to pit at all during the race.
Race 2 Cape Ring Periphery 40 laps I qualified 6th of the 7 drivers we had for the race, and right into the first corner, misfortune struck again. Under braking, I got into the back of Barn_One, which in turn got him into the side of Granddriver and put Barn into the wall (no homo to the entire sentence). Thankfully, none of us received any damge from my mistake, but it left Barn about 7 seconds behind the rest of us. Ace got into the wall on the final turn of lap one, which put me in 5th place for the time being. I passed Layvon at the end of lap 3 for 4th, as he found himself pitting from damage. I came into the pits on lap 15 for new tires which let Barn and layvon pass me, to put me back in 6th. Layvon again had to pit for damage on lap 16, which put me back in 5th. Layvon would then retire from the race on lap 18. I had a slight spinout on lap 19 right after turn one, which set me back a couple seconds, but by this point (halfway through the race) I was 1:18 behind Specter, and was just trying to stay within the finishing window. I passed Barn for 4th when he pit for tires on lap 21, and TEAM for 3rd on lap 22 for the same reason. Team would catch and pass me back on fresh tires on lap 26, and I pit in on lap 27, giving Barn back the 4th position. TEAM would be disconnected on lap 39, handing Barn 3rd and myself 4th. Not a great race, but 4th place points nonetheless.
Race 3 Clubman Stage Rte 5 50 laps Again, I qualified 6th of 7, keeping with my substandard performance in this car. I did get a pretty decent start and passed Barn before the first turn to gain 5th. Ace crashed near the end of lap 1, giving me 4th. I made my first mistake on lap 7, missing the apex on the final turn and hitting the guard rail, giving myself front right tire damage. Barn would pass me on the straight, putting me in 5th starting lap 8. This damage would cost me 2 valuable seconds per lap from my regular lap times. I pit on lap 22 for tires, and the race went to hell for me after that. After the initial pit stop, I would wreck in the last turn on 3 of the next 4 laps, each resulting in a pit stop. I needed some time to coll down as I was pretty frustrated, so I parked in the pits on lap 30, and sat for about 10 minutes. Still in 5th, as Forddriver did the same and was 20 laps behind me. I started to race again 13 laps down. I finished in 5th, 13 laps down.
Overall 5th 104 points Not a great week, but it ewas good enough to keep me in 3rd overall for the season, just 23 points ahead of a hard-charging Barn. I hope for much better luck next week in the Integra

Week 4 Honda Integra DC5 Unmod
Race 1 Tsukuba 50 Laps, I Qualified 4th for Tsukuba, just missing out on a top 3 start by less than 2 tenths. All week in practice I had felt I had a pretty good handle on the car, and was running pretty damn fast and consistant laps. TEAMwork missed the start of the race, so I was bumped up to third out of the 10 in the race. I got off to a pretty good start, ocupying 3rd position behind LayVon and RingKing (Grand), until I missed my braking point in the final turn of lap 2 and let Ford and Specter get by me before recovering. Barn also took advantage of my mistake, and passed me by turn 1, dropping me to 6th. Within 2 laps, I used a succession of inside lines to regain 5th from Barn. Around lap 8, it looked like Barn got into a pretty fierce battle with Dey, Viper and JCub for 6th, and this allowed me to put some space between me and that pack and work my way forward. I caught Specter by the end of lap 8, and drove on his bumper for quite some time. I think he thought that I couldn't keep up his pace, but my confidence was high, and I wasn't about to fold. At the start of lap ten, I was in 5th, 9 seconds behind the leaders, but 3 tenths behind Specter. Specter and I caught up to Ford by the end of lap ten, and I passed Specter with an inside pass on turn one of Lap 11, which I promptly gave up by shooting wide on the second hairpin. Ford made a mistake pushing through the Dunlop bridge turn on lap 13, allowing both Specter and myself to pass by the final hairpin. I used an inside line, and a nifty little no-contact black pass to get around Specter on lap 14. It was around this point (lap 15)that TEAM, who was commentating, told me that I had much better tire wear (65% left on front) than any of the other top 5. So, I decided to make this a one pit race for me. On lap 20, LayVon had pit giving me 2nd place, I was still 11.3 behind Grand, but 10 seconds up on anyone behind me. Grand had his pit on lap 21, and I passed him for first. The next 4 laps went smoothly, then I TRIED to pit. Lap 25, 10% Tires, 5 second lead. I slowed down to go thru pit lane, and a couple feet into it, the game kicks me back on track and into Cam77, giving us both damage. I try to go back to the pit lane, but I get a drive thru penalty instead. Grand, layvon and Jcub pass me for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and I have to go around again. Before I get back to the pits, SPecter passes me for 4th. Again, on lap 26, the game kicks me off pitlane, and another drivethrough penalty, putting me in 9th. I finally get to pit on lap 27, but my race is messed up. I am in 9th and a lap down. Specter gets dropped on lap 35, bumping me up to 8th. I have I spend the next 14 laps chasing Viper in 7th, until JCub and Ford have and altercation on lap 43, letting both of us by. I finish in 6th, 54.967 off the lead, and a best lap of 1:03.350 which was the 3rd fastest lap posted. Major disappointment.
Race 2 Madrid Reverse 35 laps I qualified 4th, pretty respectable for only putting up 2 laps. I'll start with this, TEAM dominated this race. Not pitting and winning by over a minute. Now that THAT is out of the way, TEAM, Grand, Layvon and I got out to a great start, pulling away from the rest of the pack. Layvon hit a wall on lap 2, giving me 3rd, and the three of us remaining started to really put down the laps. By lap 9, Team was 3 seconds up on Grand and I, but we were16 seconds up on anyone else. At the end of lap 9, while trying to over take Grand on the front stretch, Grand swerved to the left as I was overtaking him to the right, and BANG... I hit the pit wall full speed! I had to drive around severely damged to make the pits, putting me in 5th, and 1:03 down. I would get 4th back when Barn pit on lap 15, and third back when layvon pit on lap 17, still 59 seconds down. I would drop to 6th after a run-in with a wall and a pit on lap 21, but this would be the last pit of the race for me, 1:28 behind the lead. I got 4th back by lap 22, and 3rd by lap 27 when LayVon pit. With TEAM not pitting, his tired were less than 5% by the end, and I had managed to pull within 57:748 seconds by the end of the race. The podium felt good, but I couldnt help but feel I left at least one place on the track. Best lap 1:36.920, the fastest of anyone in the race.
Race 3 Tokyo 25 Laps I qualified 6th of 8, as my car was starting to lose HP. I battled with Barn for a while for p5, until hitting a wall in turn 2 on lap 5. I took my first pit on lap 9, 49 seconds down to first. I drive alone trough my next pit stop on lap 14, for damage, and tires for the rest of the race. 58 seconds down, still in 6th. Lap 23, I finally got some luck on my side. Apparently, (15 seconds ahead of me) RCS_Payne, Barn and LayVon were in a lengthy battle for 3rd-5th. Payne, showing MAJOR damage and lagging severely, lagged past, behind, and then into Barn and LayVon, giving them both severe damage. I was able to pass a limping Barn and LayVon for 4th, and Payne by the end of the lap for third. I finished 3rd, 1:24.561 behind the leader. Fastest lap 2:02.271, 6th fastest.
Overall. Well, I finished 2nd with 120 points, my highest finish of season 2. I can't help but feel I left some points out there in races 1 and 2, but kinda fell ass-backwards into a podium in race 3. All in all, a pretty good week for me, I gained 16 points on LayVon in 2nd, and am in a solid 3rd overall, 34 points up on Barn.
