ok thats great, i dont mind the corvette but i still dont like it, and sry but no its not. its listed on a production cars lap times, and special options is not production. if they made a ZR! NUR addition then thats fine. but its not, slaping slick tires on a car and calling it production isnt right, test the car on the tires the regular ZR1 is sold with, then ill respect that time. but thats a big reason y i hate it so much cause its basically cheating.

It is not special... it is optional, and you can order it in delearship or website! Everyone with money can buy one like that. No? The 2009 ZR1 did 7.24, the 2012 with the new tires did 7.19 or 7.18, something like that. On-topic: You are going to tune a Z06 or? Lol

Lol again dark your not getting it, its not a dealership option, you have to specially order the car directly from chevy them selfs and have that option added on. and the car doesnt cost 110k dollars like it would, the brakes and tires it goes up to 145k. so dark no you cant just walk into the dealership and buy that ZR! that does that lap time. so yes its cheap, its cheating in my book. the GTR has the same thing sept they did wat i said. they mad a nur edition but ran the reg one. the nur spec is even faster. OT: already done gonna send later.

Layvon the whole point of almost any muscle car (and i say almost because the mustang is a pony car even though some consider it muscle) is to go fast in a drag! American muscle have lots of horsepower and torque on shitty suspensions so thats what they are good for. And besides lets face it, where are you most frequently gonna race someone: a straight stretch or winding mountain roads.

r you saying a vet is a muscle car? Corvette (Z06 and ZR1) can be considered a modern muscle cars, they have everything... but they are not because the price, that makes them sport cars.

Muscle cars are rwd, V8 with an affordable price, but is valid to remember, it must have an kind of worse version to be considered a muscle car. Like, Impala and Impala SS, only the SS version is a muscle. Corvette is not an exotic because it has an entry version, it is not only one, like an Aventador. It is not a supercar because it is not expensive enough. Corvette is a sports car with supercar performance. If we compare the sports car with hatchback category, S2000 would be like a base Fiesta (entry level), Corvette would be like a Focus RS (top level). Still being pointless compare both.

The muscle car era took a break so yes its not the same type of muscle cars, but the amount of horsepower you get for the price you pay for is pretty much how you sum it up. The camaro starts at 23k with a 3.6L V6 that makes 323 hp. cost per hp $71.20 so id call it muscle. The corvette starts at 49.5k with a 6.2L V8 that produces 430 hp. cost per hp $115.12, borderline. The Porsche Cayman, 51.9k with an inline-6 producing 265 hp. cost per hp $195.85, sports car?. The corvette outweighs the value of the porsche by 58.77% and therefore i call the base model corvette muscle.

Car materials, electronics, safety features, and other things has totally changed since the late '60's. All these things KILLED the muscle car. Today cars are more expensive but WAY cheaper. Cars today fall apart in no time. Muscle cars were made with iron and steal. The motors were bullet proof. Mustangs, Camaros, Vettes, and other modern cars are way faster and safer but don't have the build quality. I totally agree with Layvon, they died in 1972.

It is what i talked to layvon other day, Muscle Cars have died? Yes, but yet... the modern ones still being the closest thing you can get nowadays. Not the same, obviously.
