Practice 3: Nothing much in P3.
Results:
1 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull Racing-Renault 1:23.168
2 Pastor Maldonado Williams-Renault 1:23.336 0.168
3 Kamui Kobayashi Sauber-Ferrari 1:23.350 0.182
Qualifying: Round 1 didn't have anything crazy about it, Hamilton takes P1 at the moment with nearly 7 tenths over 2nd place. Senna on his final lap spins it and puts it into the gravel. 7 and ahalf mins left in round 2, Hamilton is top on the charts with more then half a sec over 2nd place and .900 secs over 3rd. Hes the first man to get into the 22's then shortly after Webber just reached it. Then quickly after Raikkenen reached P2 and then grosjean took that from him and is in P2 now. The last 60 secs of the track, the temp dropped on the track and that drop drastically made the track faster, for this first time in a long long time Webber, Button are out in round 2 and not making the 3rd round! lots of new faces showing there way up into the top areas. Perez, Kobayashi, Grosjean, Maldanado all making there way up into the top. Everyone comes out of the pits and onto the track, i cant even type as fast as they keep switching spots, Maldonado had the pole but lost it to Hamilton by half a sec! Hamilton was DQ'ed from qualifying because he didn't have enough fuel in his car to give the FIA the 1L they need for testing. So the FIA decided he was DQ'ed and will lose his pole position. He will start from last place.

Race:
With the DQ of Hamiltons lap, the front grid is Maldonado and Alonso. The stands are packed with red, all supporting there native man Alonso. Also there only F1 Champion ever. The start, Alonso paases Maldonado at the first corner, and pulls 1 sec ahead. Grosjean hit Perez right rear and gives him a flat. After Perez pits stop, Perez was 7 tenths faster then Alonso on the harder tire compound. Laps 9 and 10 everyone is coming into the pits to get off the softs and get onto the hard compound. Maldonado leads his very first lap every in F1, and does a cracking good pitstop and gets back out in 2nd place, with Raikkonen behind him. Lap 15 Schummy runs into the back of Senna and both wreck. Lap 27 Maldonado passes Alonso for 2nd place. Lap 28 Vettel and Masa get drive through penalties for not fallowing yellow flag. Lap 36 Kobayashi passes Button on the hairpin slightly tapping Buttons inside. Lap 41 Perez had a bad pit stop and had to retire the car. In the closing laps of the race, it goes Moldonado, Alonso and Raikkonen. Maldonado has little over 1 sec gap on Alonso and about 14 secs on Raikkonen, but Raikkonen is catching Maldonado by 1.5-2 secs a lap. If eveyone finishes in there positions now, the top 7 in points will only be separated by only 17 points. If Maldonado wins it will be the first Willaim's win sense 2004 with Montoya. It's also Sir William's 70th birthday. Maldonado wins!! His very first win ever, and also the very first Venezuelan to ever win a F1 race! Congrats to Maldonado, what a great win! This is also the 5th different winner in 5 different races and 5th different constructor to! See you in two weeks for Monaco GP!!

Practice 1:
1 Fernando Alonso Ferrari 1:16.265
2 Romain Grosjean Lotus-Renault 1:16.630
3 Sergio Perez Sauber-Ferrari 1:16.711
Practice 2:
The rain came to Monaco sooner than expected on Friday afternoon, which rather spoiled second practice as the times became academic thereafter.
The shower came after the first half hour, and just after Jenson Button had redefined the ante with a lap of 1m 15.746s on Pirelli’s super-soft tyre. The McLaren driver was the only frontrunner to get his time in on the softer compound, and thus ended up 0.392s ahead of Lotus’s Romain Grosjean, who took his E20 round in 1m 16.138s to head fellow soft tyre runners Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso in their Ferraris. The revitalised Brazilian lapped in 1m 16.602s to the Spaniard’s 1m 16.661s.
Pastor Maldonado’s strong form continued with fifth fastest time for Williams in 1m 16.820s, though later he had a minor brush with a wall.
Behind the Venezuelan, Nico Rosberg was sixth for Mercedes in 1m 17.021s, ahead of Mark Webber on 1m 17.148s for Red Bull, Kamui Kobayashi on 1m 17.153s for Sauber, Michael Schumacher on 1m 17.293s in the second Mercedes, Sebastian Vettel on 1m 17.303s in the second Red Bull, Lewis Hamilton on 1m 17.375s in the second McLaren, Paul Di Resta in the lead Force India on 1m 17.395s, Bruno Senna in the second Williams on 1m 17.655s and Nico Hulkenberg in the second Force India on 1m 17.800s.
Sergio Perez was next up for Sauber on 1m 18.251s, with Vitaly Petrov for company in the lead Caterham on 1m 18.440s. Jean-Eric Vergne was again Toro Rosso’s faster runner with 1m 18.522s, but Daniel Ricciardo again shadowed him with 1m 18.808s.
Kimi Raikkonen’s wisdom in spending the morning’s dry session on steering set-up was called into question when the rain came, and he ended a frustrating day only 19th on 1m 19.267s and with minimal dry-road experience.
Timo Glock’s Marussia headed the final quintet on 1m 19.309s, but it was a close-run thing behind him. Heikki Kovalainen lapped in 1m 20.029s before his Caterham came to a stop in the escape road at Mirabeau, while Charles Pic took his Marussia round in 1m 20.240 ahead of the HRTs of Pedro de la Rosa and Narain Karthikeyan on 1m 20.631s and 1m 20.886s respectively.
Besides Maldonado, Senna and Massa made quick visits to the Mirabeau escape road, but otherwise it was a relatively uneventful, and inconclusive, practice session. It may prove to be the last with any dry running, as the forecast now predicts serious rain on Saturday, and possible showers on Sunday.
Results:
1 Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes 1:15.746
2 Romain Grosjean Lotus-Renault 1:16.138
3 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:16.602

Practice 3:
1 Nico Rosberg Mercedes 1:15.159 2 Felipe Massa Ferrari 1:15.197 3 Sebastian Vettel Red Bull Racing-Renault 1:15.209
Qualifying:
Round 1. There was a 80% chance of rain, but not a chance! sun shine, blue skys, just a perfect summers day. Very early into round one, Perez puts his Sauber into the wall. But Maldonado hit his left side, and replays of it, Perez's car just didnt seem to want to turn right and he put the left side into the wall. 11 mins into the session Rosburg takes P1 with over half a sec on 2nd place. Schumi and Rosburg are 1 and 2 with 7 and ahalf minutes to play. With Masa in 3rd! So end of the session, Hulkenberg, Kobayashi, Grosjean are 1 2 3.
Round 2: Very quickly Rosberg jumps to P1 with Webber just nipping at his heels. 4 minutes left in the round and the top 10 are within .800's of a second of each other. with many fast cars sitting right there as well trying to get into round 3. 2 and a half minutes to play. Masa is the first person to get into the 14 second range. 1 and a half minutes to play Button, Grosjean, Räikkönen are sitting outside of the top 10. And then Grosjean bumps Kobayashi to 11th. Hulkenberg, Kobayashi, Button, Senna, Di Resta, Ricciardo, Vergne are all knocked out in round 2!
Round 3: Before things get going, i have to say. This year's Qualifying has been so exciting. There has been so much competition between the teams and drivers. Early on Rosberg takes P1 from Grosjean, but with Webber nipping at his heels. For the final minute of round 3, everyone is on track. Schumi gets pole, BUT he has a 5 grid spot penalty from last race incident with Senna.

Monaco GP
Race:
Schumi got the pole, but with the 5 grid spot penalty he drops back to 6th. But he also broke the lap record at Monaco with that qualifying lap. This race could give a 6-Pack, and by that i mean 6 different race's with 6 different winners. Right away Grosjean gets turned, taps Kobayashi and Schumi. Grosjean is out of the race. Maldonado is out of the race as well. Back to green lap 6, it goes Webber, Rosberg, Hamilton, Alonso, Masa. Though Grosjean has showed great potential this year, he's retired from 3 races this year with out completing more then 4 laps. But when he does finish he has great finishes. Lap 9 Kobayashi retires his car from the 1st lap incident with Grosjean. Lap 15 Webber runs fastest lap of that race with a 1.19:601. Theres the threat of rain, so all the teams are going crazy, they don't know if they should pit soon to get off the tires they are on that are nearly dead, or keep going on them and hope the rain comes and pit onto the rain tire. Lap 25, the rain is getting closer and closer. The teams that are out on the super soft tires are starting to get nervous sense there tires are nearly completely gone, but they dont want to pit twice jsut for the rain. So the people out on the soft tire are glad, sense they can go much much further on there set. Only two drivers are on soft tires, witch is Vettel in 6th and Button in 14th. Lap 30 everyone starts pitting, Everyone also got onto the soft compound. So kind of confused on whats going on, why get onto the harder tire with rain lingering around. After all the pits, Vettel is first by a huge lead. with Webber behind him and Rosberg. Lap 47 Vettel pits onto the super soft's and drops back to 4th. Webber takes the lead back. Teams are starting to say no rain anymore, but this is Monaco. So you never know when the rain will come. Lap 55 Webber still has first place, Rosberg 2nd Alonso 3rd, Vettel 3rd, Hamilton 5th. Lap 65 the rain starts to fall in Rascasse. Lap 66 Schumi retires from the race, he did a few laps quite slowly and then pulled into the pits. Not 100% sure what the problem was, but mite of been from the contact with Grosjean at the beginning of the race. Ricardo retires just after Schumi as well. 9 laps to go, you can see the rain on the camera lens and says its starting to get much worse around the track. The track is getting quite slippery now, but no one wants to pit with just 7 laps to go. The laps are dropping drastically right now. went from the 19's and down to the 26's. Vergen is the first one to come into the pits and gets onto the Inters. But now the times are getting faster, back to the 24s. 5 Laps remaining, the rain tires are not needed, the track is picking up again. Monaco like always is giving an exciting race. So much unpredictability here. Mark Webber wins the Monaco GP!! 6 different races, 6 different drivers to win! and the top 6 where all nose to tail! What a great race in Monaco! Oh and also Perez makes it the 6th different person to have the fastest lap of the race. Red Bull Racing is the only constructor to win twice.

A few problems so far, Kovalainen wasn't taking part in P2 cause of his incident. Alonso spins out but keeps driving. Backl to the student's protesting. They arn't protesting the race, they are protesting student tuition from the gov demanding more money. They set off smoke bombs in the main subway that takes people to the race track. 51 mins left of P2 the clouds are rolling in so we mite see some rain. Hamilton has the top spots at the moment with a 1:15.259 with Kobayashi and Schumi behind. 41 Minutes to go Senna plows his car into the wall at the final corner, he walks away. 27 mins left in P2 the red flag went away. 18 mins left Button's car is ready and he finally hits the track. 5 mins left Hamilton was still first with Alonso 2nd and Masa 3rd. P2 ends the same order.

Qualifying:
This qualifying looks very clear, skys are blue and the track is warm. The track times are increasing and keep getting fasters. Very early on Rosberg comes out early in Q1. Just after Practice 2 there was like a hurricane that smashed the track, but cleaned the whole surface. 10 Min's in Q1 left and Hulkenberg is sitting in P1 with Alonso behind him. Q1 ends with Vettel up top in P1 with Button and Hamilton behind. Q2 Vettel is sitting on P1 with Alonso, Hamilton behind. At the very end Maldonado is maching Vettel's times each sector, but the very last corner in champions wall, he taps the wall a tiny bit to much and is out in Q2. Also Button was sitting on the hot seat in 10th. But god what a try from Maldonado, putting everything on the line. Very early in Q3, Vettel goes and throws the fastest lap this weekend so far. Getting into the 13's with Alonso and Hamilton behind. 2 min's left the garage except Button, who is probably going to sit on his time and save tires. Vettel is increasing his by 1 tenth. But Alonso and Hamilton are beating there times. Vettel is still first by 3 tenths over Hamilton, and .36 over Alonso.

Race:
The race starts in a hot temps nearing 30c. Vettel gets to his old lightening starts leading Hamilton and Alonso. Tiny bit of contact in the 2nd corner but no incident. Lap 3 DRS is enabled. Lap 7 Masa spins in turn 1, he was moving up forward quickly but dropped back to 12th with the spin. Lap 11 Hamilton is closing into Vettel. The tires though are starting to give out, the wear is obvious. Lap 13 Masa comes in and pits onto softs. Lap 14 Di Resta and Schummi pit. Button on the soft tire pits on lap 16 goes onto the super softs. He's had troubles all weekend and still having them. Vettel pits lap 17 onto the softs giving the lead up to Hamilton. Hamilton gets out ahead of Vettel, Alonso has lead and stays out another lap. Alonso is running the fastest lap now and pushing to get away. The Masa takes fastest lap away from his Ferrari team mate. Alonso pits lap 19. Alonso gets out ahead of Hamilton, but Hamilton is right on him and he gets by half a lap later in the DRS zone. Lap 24 HRT's Karthikeyan retires from race. At this point I'm getting pissed off with FOX going to commercial every 5 minutes and i will not watch another race on FOX for now on. I'll DVR it and watch after. Lap 30 Räikkönen has still yet to pit, he is on the soft tire going for a 1 pit race. Hamilton is pulling away from Alonso and Vettel. Button lap 34 pits onto the super softs. Sauber told Perez that you got another 10 lap on his tires, That was said on lap 32. He's yet to pit still, Saubers tire management is insane. Räikkönen who is still on the same tires is putting up his fastest laps. Lap 41 Räikkönen comes in and gets onto the super softs for his 1 pit stop. Perez who is on the same strategy is still out on his tires. Lap 42 Perez pits and comers out just ahead of Räikkönen. Lap 46 Schummi retires his car into the pits for his DRS not closing. Hamilton is still leading at lap 48, Alonso is still 2nd about 3 seconds behind. Lap 51 Hamilton pits from first and yet again the pit was screwed up. Alonso is setting fast laps trying to pull from Hamilton. Hamilton is turning out purple sectors and fastest laps. The advantage Ferrari gained with Mclaren's bad pitstop is gone with Hamilton's fastest laps. Lap 59 Masa pits onto the super softs. Grosjean is sitting right on Vettel's rear with Perez not far behind them. Lap 60 Hamilton runs a 17.0 over 1 sec faster then Vettel and Alonso. Lap 63 Hamilton passes Vettel and on the hunt for Alonso who is in his sight. Vettel pits on lap 64 giving up his 3rd spot to Grosjean and Perez. Hamilton passes Alonso in the DRS zone on lap 64 to take the lead back. Grosjean the rookie is closing down fast on Alosno. Perez has also just taken fastest lap honors on lap 66. If Hamilton wins this race, that will make 7 races 7 different winners. Grosjean passes Alonso on lap 67 dropping him back to 3rd and Perez is on the hunt now and he is 3 seconds a lap faster then Alonso. This is taking you back to Malasia where Perez chased Alonso down. Lap 69 Perez passes ALonso for 3rd! Lap 69 Vettel passes Alonso. Alonso is dropping back extremely fast. This race has been extremely exciting with so much action. Hamilton wins the Canadian GP!!!! Grosjean 2nd Perez 3rd!! That makes 7 races, 7 different race winners, 5 different constructors and the points lead gets even tighter. What a race is all i can say, this year just gets better and better. If your not watching your missing out!

Back in Europe and it's a cloudy day in Spain. It's very unusual for this time of year in Spain. So all the practice will be basically useless as that the race day conditions will be different. Button has said his car is alot better and the balance is right. P1 keeps getting swapped around, from Vettel to Button to Alonso. 1 hour 2 mins left nothing big has happened. Just Webber complaining about his car not shifting down right. De La Rosa crashed his HRT with 43 minutes to go.

Maldonado takes P1 from Di Resta with 40 secs left. Webber gets back out on track but he fails to get into round 2. His gear box issues where bad and he mite have to change gear box and take 5 spot grid penalty. Webber was also having hydrolic issues with his DRS system. Very early on in Q2 Rosburg goes to P1 with Raikkenen barely behind less then .025's. Grosjean goes to P1 and knocks out both Ferrari's of Q2. No Ferrari's in Q3 at all! Great Britain GP:
Practice 1: The rain was so heavy they didn't run a lot.
Result:
1 Romain Grosjean Lotus-Renault 1:56.552
2 Daniel Ricciardo STR-Ferrari 1:56.827
3 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 1:57.174
Practice 2:
It's still raining like crazy most teams arn't going out much, with 20 minutes in the session only 2 people set lap times. 50 minutes to play, and still nothing. The rain is falling fast still and doesn't look like its slowing. 46 minutes left the rain has let up a little bit. Kobayashi is the first one back onto the track. A few others went onto track after like Perez, Alonso and Masa. 30 minutes to play Senna wrecks the car again. A few minutes left of P2 nothing much has happened, Hamilton has the top spot at the moment.
Results:
1 Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes 1:56.345
2 Kamui Kobayashi Sauber-Ferrari 1:56.474
3 Michael Schumacher Mercedes 1:56.545
