Just a heads up, im going to move this race to tuesday morning, should accomodate fords race now on wednesdays and not interfere with layvons race hopefully, and of course especially not get in the way of RCS on sundays. ill modify this post if their is any updated information, im sure alot will change by the end of this season, atleast their will be a foundation hopefully for the next season if this travels that far. --------I got ur message about setting touring cars for the weekend layvon thats really cool. oh so ur normally going on thursdays with the endurance cup Ford, alright thats sweet i wasn't sure if it was permanent, ok with that being said i'd like to move it back to wednesdays, these 4 wd really aren't that long, unless we have to do like three different variations of the course then it might run close if u have an endurance race on wednesday but if thursday is normal for endurance cup then im going back to wednesdays. this week is Tsukuba 25 laps no other variations should be a quick half hour race. NEXT WEEK 4wd RETURNS TO WEDNESDAYS. going to try to include schedule dates for each course if i can modify the post other than that every race should start at 12PM eastern time. ive got a lobby up now if anyone would like to qualify.

Using supercars at 50% power limiter is discouraging some people from wanting to do this race. You really might want to reconsider the set up of this race to get more people involved. This race series should be limited to Subarus, Mitsubishis, GTR R33 and lower, Audi TT's, etc.
We will talk more about it later.

Just an idea to throw out depending on the Suka race coming up Why not keep these two cars for the rest of the season. Since your series is called 'Close competition' make it simpler and you wouldn't have to try match cars each round.

No offense, but I wouldn't look forward to racing a Scooby for the rest of the season. I would rather race one different 4wd drive car for each race(premiums or standards). A 4wd RCS it would become, but then it would all come down to tuning and driver skill. Example everyone in Celica GT-Fours with a 520pp tune.

That would be great, but people will max out their car, and detune 50%... Like happens now. And that's not fun, or realistic for those who won't do that.

Well max tuning is allowed, so if it is a one-make race, how about setting the hp/weight limit somewhere 10-20 points below the max(ignore that 520pp). That way people wouldn't have to massively detune their cars.
But even if they detune their cars, it will still be the same cars all at the same hp/weight. The only real difference would be the torque figures and everyone's personal transmission/suspension setups.

Im ignorng the base of 305 hp and 1500 kg this way people are not able to detune massively, instead ill use either one car, or two cars similiar in engine size with some what close torque to begin with, and like racer_s90 said, ill be putting the horsepower just a notch down after being Fully tuned, so that both vehicles will be ran at the same kg/hp ratio. I'm already suggestion bringing any 3000gt standard models of course, with an engine size similiar to everyone else, the engine size and max hp/kg will be determined after Sazuka. but i enjoy the variety of 4wd that are available so we will not stick with just the wrx and evo the entire season, sorry that just will not happen.

I would like to RE-OPEN this series....i have noticed that no one has signed in or logged on to post anything with in some time, which is understandable since we all have lives of our own. To get things started and underway i would like to acknowledge that i can host every morning of the week...so around 10-12 AM eastern USA time. So if your in Europe its going to be around 6-8 PM or if your in Western USA its about 7-9 AM ........let me know if this time works for you...it works very well for me since i work swing shift...let me know what works for everyone else so we can get this thing underway...i have to recap on the rules and regulations so i know how to drive in this series again, unfortunately with GT6 around the corner i hope i can finish this series out doing a race, driving every morning. When GT6 does finally arrive....hopefully everyone will have lots of time to drive obviously with the colder weather approaching.....but if this series does not regain attention then i will solely seek out to find loyal drivers willing to participate every morning in a MINI race, one type of mini with the same course with several different lap combinations, holding only 8 drivers with no mics responsible for showing up, first come first serve filling up a highest quality lobby for the closest sim racing available. until next time! or until GT6 arrives....TTYL!
